In this section you will find a description of how to configure your mail on a computer using programs, we will provide settings that are suitable for using any programs on both Windows, Mac OS or Linux, FreeBSD. Absolutely any email application.

To set up an account, launch the application and create a new account.

  • Account name: mail@domain.tld
  • Username: mail@domain.tld
  • Password: password that you specified when creating the mailbox

Setting up a regular connection (without SSL/TLS)

Server for receiving letters (for Inbox)

  • Host: webmail.domain.tld
  • IMAP port: 143
  • Use SSL/TLS: no

Server for sending letters (for Outgoing letters)

  • Host: webmail.domain.tld
  • SMTP port: 25 (note: in some organizations this port is closed, if so, use an additional)
  • Submission port: 587
  • Use login as an incoming mail server: enabled
  • Use SSL/TLS: no

Setting up a secure connection (SSL/TLS recommended)

Install and configure an SSL certificate for working with mail.

Server for receiving letters (for Inbox)

  • Host: webmail.domain.tld
  • IMAP port: 993
  • Use SSL/TLS: Yes

Server for sending letters (for Outgoing letters)

  • Host: webmail.domain.tld
  • SMTP port: 465
  • Use login as an incoming mail server: enabled
  • Use SSL/TLS: Yes

Specify your domain as domain.tld, the webmail subdomain will allow you to use the certificate from web mail in the application, the main thing is to make sure that it is selected in the mail settings of your personal account on the hosting control panel.
